Liveli provide Venues NSW a digital mapping solution for NSW's biggest stadiums

Liveli has partnered with Venues NSW to bring its doorstep-to-seat digital mapping solution, MapsIndoors by MapsPeople, to New South Wales’ world-class stadiums and precincts, helping to improve the event day experience for fans.

Sporting fans and event-goers attending the Sydney Cricket Ground, Accor Stadium, CommBank Stadium, McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle Entertainment Centre, WIN Stadium, WIN Entertainment Centre and the soon-to-be-opened Allianz Stadium, will soon be able to map their way from home to their seat with a click of a button.

The easy to use platform will allow patrons to plan every element of their journey from how to get to their favourite food and merchandise outlets, bathrooms, or the quickest route to their seating row or upgraded corporate hospitality suite.

The new digital wayfinding solution, which will progressively roll out across NSW’s major stadiums over the next 12 months, follows the success of MapsPeople’s partnership with the Chase Centre in San Francisco, home to the NBA’s Golden State Warriors.

Liveli’s Senior Account Executive, Alexis Phillips, said it’s exciting to bring its digital mapping solution, in partnership with Google Maps and MapsIndoors platforms, to NSW’s world-class sporting stadiums and precincts.

“Liveli, and our partner MapsPeople, are pleased for the opportunity to work with Venues NSW on this application that will enhance the experience for all stadium visitors for years to come,” Phillips said.

“The MapsIndoors technology, based upon the familiar and trusted Google Maps Platform, will be intuitive and simple to use for everyone. We can’t wait for the rollout of this across all of the Venues NSW stadiums and entertainment centres.”

The digital mapping solution is the first of its kind stadium wayfinding solution in Australia that will assist the millions of event attendees each year, ensuring a premium and seamless experience to their seat.

The platform will be rolled out first at the Sydney Cricket Ground and available for Sydney Swans match attendees in April, before the other stadiums come online.

“The technology makes it easier for fans to find their favourite food and drink outlets, merchandise stalls, or corporate and function spaces.

“We’re particularly excited about bringing the solution to the soon-to-be-opened Allianz Stadium – which will be a world-class 42,500 seat stadium right in the heart of Sydney CBD.”

More details about how to access the digital wayfinding solution will be available via the Venues NSW and specific stadium’s websites ahead of going live.

The above joint press release was published on 16th March on behalf of Liveli and Venues NSW.
